Burbank mixer in Jan 2019 draws 200+ industry members

The first networking mixer of 2019 held by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Western North America Division was open to members and non-members alike, and drew some 230 people to the venerable Burbank Bar and Grille on Jan 24.

Located across the street from TEA Headquarters and convenient to many TEA member companies in the Los Angeles area, the Burbank Bar and Grille has been a favorite location for our industry mixers.  It was a great evening with an enthusiastic crowd taking the opportunity to mingle, network and catch up on one another's work, projects and plans for the year. Newly elected TEA Western Division Board President Shannon Martin of Color Reflections Las Vegas was on hand to help make people feel welcome.

We were pleased to see some people from Orlando in town attending the mixer - it is always great to mix with our TEA and induistry colleagues, who hail from all parts of the globe. Regretfully, we must say farewell to our favorite mixer venue - the Burbank Bar and Grille is closing. Thanks for the memories as we share the happy faces from the evening’s well-attended event (photos for TEA by Michael Daut; click to see many more photos). We have plans for a Mardi Gras themed mixer in February - check the TEA Events page for future listings.
