Orlando: TEA Eastern Division gathers for Jan 2019 mixer at Crooked Can

The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Eastern North America Division hosted an industry mixer to kick off 2019, on Wed. Jan 30.

Held at Crooked Can Brewing in Winter Garden, FL (Orlando area) the mixer was very well attended. It drew some 300 people in all, including some 45 new TEA members, and 25 non-members (we like to think of them as soon-to-be members). This event allowed everyone to mix and mingle, connect and reconnect, and have some fun!

The mixer also offered an opportunity for TEA members and friends to honor the life and  pay respects to the memory of Dr. Paula Stenzler, Senior Director, Engineering & Safety, Universal Creative, who passed away January 7, 2019. Donations were made at the mixer to The Society of Women Engineers. Paula will be remembered as a beloved member of our community. Further donations can be made via this link. (Click “Donate” in orange on the page, and select Scholarship Donation in Honor of Paula Stenzler in the “Fund” drop-down.)

Many thanks to TEA Eastern Division Board President Melissa Ruminot of The Companies of Nassal, for this report.
