JRA to Plan, Design, and Realize Lionsgate Movie World

Located within Jeju Shinhwa World in South Korea, Lionsgate Movie World will feature six immersive zones based on the studio's biggest franchises, making guests feel as if they've stepped into the worlds of these blockbuster films. Working with Landing Jeju Development Company Ltd. and Lionsgate, JRA is providing master planning, design, and project management for this one-of-a-kind destination, which will be Korea's first theme park built exclusively around global films and Lionsgate’s largest theme park project to-date.

Forty-five years ago, JRA CEO Keith James took a summer job at Kings Island theme park with his friend and mentor, Jack Rouse. He could have never known the adventures, experiences and friendships that would follow, and the lives he would touch along the way.

On April 2, 2016, Keith James received one of the industry’s highest honors – the Buzz Price Thea Award for a Lifetime of Distinguished Achievements.

In excerpts from his Summit Keynote address and Thea Award acceptance speech, Keith offers his lessons learned and thanks all those responsible for his “unbelievable life.”

The Joy Spence Appleton Estate Rum Experience: Crafting History
Appleton Estate is the oldest rum distillery in continuous production, dating back over 250 years. Recently the Estate's tour underwent a $7.2 million makeover, which was planned, designed and realized by JRA. The 51,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor attraction features an introductory video, exhibits, tasting rooms, a restaurant with a lounge and jerk pit, a retail space, and an extensive, multi-sensory tour of the Estate grounds.
