Main Street Design's work at the Arboretum in Houston, Texas

Last year the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center' embarked on a master planning process to develop a road map for restoring and protecting their precious natural property and transform their identity into a leading nature center. They hired a nationally recognized collaborative team composed of Design Workshop, Lake/Flato Architects and Main Street Design. Last month, schematic design work began on the site design and restoration, as well as the architectural and interpretive design for the new visitor and education centers.

No Joke! The National Comedy Center Officially Named America's Comedy HQ

The National Comedy Center was formally designated as the nation’s official cultural institution dedicated to the art form of comedy. In a tremendous bi-partisan show of support, both the Senate and House of Representatives passed this bill in February, and the president signed it into law today, recognizing the Center as the “Official National Comedy Center of the United States.”
