Masterplanning and Exhibit Design Firm Luci Creative Announces Three Key Additions

The team at full-service masterplanning and exhibit design firm Luci Creative is very proud to announce the addition of three new talents who have recently joined the staff. According to Luci Creative’s executive director AJ Goehle, these new additions include art director Jaime Hotz, senior graphic designer Sarah Anderson and exhibit developer Chaucey Slagel.

Ms. Hotz spent the previous eight years as senior communication designer for Shedd Aquarium. Having earned her Master's degree in Design and Visual Communications at Pratt Institute, with undergraduate studies in Theater Design at the University of Wisconsin, she has a very colorful history of combining her passions for design and theater. With experiences gained at leading media outlets, communications agencies and cultural institutions, Hotz has a proven flair for making the world more wondrous and beautiful. For Luci, she leads the graphics department, ensuring each project has a clear and engaging visual style and identity.

Ms. Anderson joins Luci from the Indiana Historical Society, where she began in 2004. Hired at the beginning of her career as a digital imaging technician, she continued to learn and grow with the Society, while studying at the Herron School of Art and Design. Earning her BFA in Photography in 2008, in 2011, she was promoted to the position of exhibition graphic designer, responsible for the development of visuals for the Society's exhibits and galleries. For the past nine years, Sarah has worked collaboratively with historians, exhibit designers, fabricators, multimedia generators and curators to develop interpretive experiences and environmental graphics. Meanwhile, she has also stayed busy as the co-owner and designer of the boutique design and screen printing studio On the Cusp Design, established in 2014 with her husband Dave.

Currently studying The History, Philosophy, and Social Science of Science and Medicine at the University of Chicago, Ms. Slagel spent the past year working in exhibit development, research and evaluation at the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago. In her new role as exhibit developer for Luci, she is an essential member of the company's strategy team, where her thoughtful approach to research, development and writing supports the growing firm's projects by illuminating the key stories that propel exhibit experiences to new heights.

“The recent success of our projects is a reflection of our growing and talented team,” Goehle began. “The newest associates to join our team not only add strength and depth to our roster, they also bring experience and perspective from some of the country’s most prestigious cultural institutions.”
