Hamilton Exhibition Opens in Chicago

Alexander Hamilton’s remarkable story has inspired millions of Americans. Now, you can see it through his eyes in this 360-degree immersive museum exhibition currently running in Chicago. The creators of the revolutionary musical collaborated with TEA members Sage Creative Group, Lightswitch, Design Electronics, NGX Interactive, ID3 Group and Hunt Design.

Featuring interactive games and displays, lifelike projections, full-scale statues, and Instagram-worthy art installations, Hamilton: The Exhibition takes visitors deeper into Alexander Hamilton’s life as it chronicles the American Revolution and the creation of the United States of America.

Discover how Hamilton’s work as a trader in St. Croix gave him the skills to create our country’s financial system. Find yourself in the eye of the hurricane that drove Hamilton to America. Gaze upon the same New York streets where he first landed in 1776. Step into George Washington’s war tent and see the Battle of Yorktown come alive through an intricately reenacted virtual battle. And finally, as you end your journey through the exhibition, watch the opening number of Hamilton starring Lin-Manuel Miranda — in 3D.

Underscored by a brand-new, 27-piece orchestral recording of the music from Hamilton, the exhibition also features an audio tour narrated by the musical’s author, Lin-Manuel Miranda, along with Phillipa Soo and Christopher Jackson, who played Eliza Schuyler and George Washington in the original Broadway production. Joanne B. Freeman, historical advisor and Professor of History and American Studies at Yale University, also narrates.

ETC brings easy LED dimming to legacy systems with PhaseAdept

Middleton, WI (9 May 2019) – Many organizations would love to harness the energy-saving features of LEDs, but the associated costs of installing new wiring, power control infrastructure and control systems to dim these loads have kept many from upgrading. With ETC’s new PhaseAdept dimmer module, venues now have a cost-effective, simple to install solution to capitalize on the benefits of LED lighting. The PhaseAdept module fits into any vintage of Sensor, DRd, or DR enclosure – including those already installed – and provides high-quality, low-voltage dimming for LED fixtures and lamps over existing wiring.
