TransFX hosts TEA mixer and open house May 31, 2018 in Oxnard

On May 31, 2018, TransFX welcomed Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) members to a mixer and open house marking the company's 25th anniversary.

TransFX hosted this gathering for the TEA Western North America Division, at its headquarters in Oxnard (in the Los Angeles area) celebrating - in addition to a quarter-century in business - the company's long history as a TEA member. TransFX specializes in prototype engineering, design and fabrication.

The trip to Oxnard was a bit of a drive for some attendees, but it was worth it – the party was fantastic. Reggae music filled the space with a live band, and island food and drink were served.

Many of the guests recounted stories of working with TransFX founders Allen and Annie Pike as far back as the mid-1990s, when the catchphrase "themed entertainment" was coming into regular use (TEA itself was founded in 1991).

In a heartfelt thank-you speech, Alan introduced himself as “probably the only CEO in the TEA with dreadlocks.” Many thanks to TransFX for this excellent gathering, and kudos to all who braved the freeways on a weeknight to attend the event.
