New Orleans: 120 attend TEA mixer during AAM Museum Expo week

On May 20 in New Orleans, 120 attended a Themed Entertainment Association (TEA)-organized mixer at Fulton Alley Gaming Parlor.

Most participants were in town for the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) 2019 Annual Meeting and Museum Expo. The AAM is a non-profit association that has brought museums together since its founding in 1906, helping develop standards and best practices, gathering and sharing knowledge, and advocating on issues of concern to the museum community. AAM is dedicated to ensuring that museums remain a vital part of the American landscape, connecting people with the greatest achievements of the human experience, past, present and future.

Guests enjoyed networking and refreshments in an informal setting that included opportunities to bowl and play other games such as shuffleboard and darts.

A joint organizational effort between TEA's two Divisions in North America (Eastern and Western) helped bring about this mixer. Special thanks to the sponsors for their invaluable support: EXP, Imagine Exhibitions and Color Reflections.
