150 attend TEA mixer at GSCA 2017 in Chicago

On Sept 25, some 150 people turned out for a mixer organized by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) during the annual international conference of the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) which took place in Chicago.

The mixer was the brainchild of TEA Eastern North America Division Board Member, Larry Howard of Christie Digital. Thanks to generous sponsorship from Electrosonic and Christie, TEA was able to coordinate with GSCA to provide free drink tickets and appetizers to a group of about 150 GSCA conference delegates and explore synergy between the two associations.

The event lasted about an hour and drew some local member attendance in addition to GSCA attendees, as well as one TEA NextGen member from CalArts.
