Shanghai, 7-8 April: A celebration of the 2018 TEA Thea Awards

A special gathering in Shanghai, 7-8 April 2018, has been organized by the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) Asia Pacific Division to allow industry members in Shanghai to celebrate the TEA Thea Awards.

The Shanghai gathering will occur during the same weekend that the official, 24th Annual TEA Thea Awards Gala is taking place in the US, at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. Attendees to the Shanghai event will have the opportunity to network and celebrate with their colleagues in the Asia Pacific region, and to learn about the Thea Awards, the award recipients, the TEA Asia Pacific Division, and TEA.

Tickets may be purchased through EVENTBRITE or YOOPAY.

A similar event, the "Thea Awards Brunch" was organized by the TEA Asia Pacific Division in 2017.

Tickets to the Shanghai celebration of the TEA Thea Awards (7-8 April, local time) may be purchased through EVENTBRITE or YOOPAY.

Experience Design: Themed Entertainment Association NextGen members undertake a creative exercise in Europe

The NextGen Initiative of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) brings students and recent graduates into the association to help acquaint them with the international attractions industry and build careers. Working with TEA leadership, TEA NextGen members within the TEA EME Division recently took a bold, hands-on approach and formed a team to develop a creative concept for a fictitious theme park. Appropriately, the idea for this mock project exercise emerged during a discussion at TEA SATE, the Association's signature conference on Experience Design.
