TEA call for Thea Awards nominations - deadline July 6, 2018

Nominations are open for the annual Thea Awards of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), the international alliance for the makers of compelling places and experiences. Nominations for the 2018-2019 judging cycle are due July 6, 2018.

The TEA Thea Awards recognize excellence and innovation in the themed entertainment and international visitor attractions industry. Each year, hundreds of nominations are received and considered by the TEA Thea Awards Committee for outstanding destination attractions, breakthrough technology, event spectaculars, cultural attractions or guest experiences, and individuals who have made their mark through a lifetime of distinguished achievements.

  • You can nominate your own project, event, or technology
  • Anyone may submit a nomination, whether or not a TEA member
  • Nominations for lifetime achievement honorees and for the Thea Classic Award are also welcome
  • Nominations deadline: July 6, 2018.
  • Recipients will be announced in November 2018
  • Awards will be formally presented in Spring 2019 at the 25th annual TEA Thea Awards Gala

WDI Asia hosts TEA President’s Forum in Hong Kong, 3 June 2018

Hong Kong, June 2018 - Building on the opportunity afforded by the large number of industry members gathered in Hong Kong for the 2018 IAAPA Asia Attractions Expo, the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) partnered with Walt Disney Imagineering for an Asia-centric TEA President's Forum on June 3, at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. 130 attended.
