The press cover the attractions industry, and they turn to TEA for information!

We share some recent examples of stories in the mainstream and industry press that shine a spotlight on the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), TEA activities and the industry our association serves, in one way or another.

Nolan Bushnell at the TEA Summit

The Season Pass Podcast has had an interview table set up at the annual TEA Summit conference for the past few years, where they record conversations with Summit speakers and TEA leaders.

The first podcast released on the 2017 TEA Summit is TSPP #347, in which Douglas Barnes and Robert Coker interviewed Nolan Bushnell, Co-Founder/Chairman of Modal VR. Bushnell rose to success and fame as the founder and creator of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese. (Recorded April 20, 2017.)

Thomas Megna,
TEA Asia Pacific Division

Thomas Megna on tourism development in China

TEA Asia Pacific Division president Thomas Megna was tapped for his expert opinion and quoted in this Caixin Global article by Coco Feng, published May 27, 2017, concerning a Titanic replica attraction under development in Daying, China and its projected effect on regional tourism. TEA/AECOM Theme Index partner AECOM is also a reference in the story. This is an interesting look at the still-emerging Asian leisure markets.
