Ryan Miziker and Miziker Entertainment to produce 2018 TEA Thea Awards Gala

Burbank, CA – The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) welcomed Ryan Miziker, CEO and creative director of Miziker Entertainment Inc., as producer of the 24th annual TEA Thea Awards Gala, to be held April 7, 2018, at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA.

Miziker Entertainment is a world leader in the design and production of shows and parades, media-based attractions, and memorable guest experiences.

TEA International Board President, David Willrich of DJ Willrich Ltd. said, “We have complete confidence in Miziker Entertainment for this role. Miziker Entertainment has recently opened the “River of Screams” Halloween Experience at Chimelong Water Park and the “Journey of Lights Parade” at Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, and is currently in production on the "Rhythms of Rio Parade” for Genting Malaysia at Twentieth Century Fox World, opening in 2018.

TEA call for Thea Awards nominations - deadline July 6, 2018

Nominations are open for the annual Thea Awards of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), the international alliance for the makers of compelling places and experiences. Nominations for the 2018-2019 judging cycle are due July 6, 2018.

Record attendance for 2018 TEA Summit, Thea Case Studies Day and Thea Awards Gala

Showcasing a global spectrum of top-awarded projects, companies, people and technology leading visitor attractions and providing a forum for peer discussion, the annual Summit of the Themed Entertainment Association attracted record attendance with some 300 delegates for Day One and 550 for Day Two (April 5-6). The meetings convened at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim as part of TEA's big weekend of events, culminating in the TEA Thea Awards Gala presented by Chimelong, April 7, which also welcomed a record crowd of more than 800 celebrants.

Paris: 40 attend TEA mixer at Musée Grévin

Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) members and non-members met at the Musée Grévin in Paris for a private tour of the mythical museum on March 29, 2018, organized by the TEA Europe & Middle East Division.
