Disneyland Hotel, Anaheim - The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) reported success and attendance numbers in line with a standard event year for its annual big weekend of events, April 21-23, 2022, consisting of the two-day TEA Summit conference, followed by the 28th Annual TEA Thea Awards Gala presented by Chimelong. #TEAsummit #TEAtheas
Members of the visitor attractions industry came from around the world for the first time in 3 years to enjoy opportunities of professional development, networking and celebration. Some 250 delegates attended TEA Summit Day One; 450+ filled the room for Day Two (Thea Awards Case Studies Day); and almost 700 people attended the Gala!
Congratulations to all the TEA Thea Awards recipients and the many creatives and specialists who made up the teams that produced the projects. Heartfelt thanks to the event organizers, chairs, moderators, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, participants and supporters of all kinds, TEA leadership, the TEA Thea Awards Committee and TEA staff.

Orlando, June 06, 2022 - TEA International Board of Directors President-elect Melissa Ruminot met today with US Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Analysis Grant Harris. The Industry and Analysis business unit works with associations to aggregate and represent the needs of industry in the formulation of U.S. foreign commercial and economic policy. Assistant Secretary Harris asked to meet with TEA to learn about TEA members’ challenges and needs. The lunch meeting was arranged by US Department of Commerce Orlando Director Kenneth Mouradian.
