From lighting and effects spectaculars, to theming a land or attraction at a theme park, to a new musical, everything Jayson produces tells a story and creates a memorable experience. Jayson is a Tony Award-nominated producer who brings 20 years of creative development, management, and leadership to every project. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).

Recently for Quantum, Jayson produced Once: An Enchanted Storybook Spectacular at VinWonders Phu Quoc in Vietnam and 10 interactive attractions for Lionsgate Entertainment World (based on their movie intellectual properties) in Zhuhai, China. 

Jayson has produced nighttime spectaculars and complete park-wide lighting for Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America, and the nighttime spectacular Forever Cunard from the historic Queen Mary 2 that illuminated New York Harbor and lower Manhattan for the 175th Anniversary of Cunard Line.

In a unique partnership with Princess Cruises, Jayson has developed and produced new musicals with creative partner Stephen Schwartz. The Secret Silk, written and directed by John Tartaglia, is currently being performed on four Princess Cruises vessels.

As a live entertainment producer, Jayson’s work has been seen by millions. Some of Jayson’s producing highlights include: Sting and Patti LuPone in concert for Uprising of Love at the Gershwin Theatre in NYC; live television appearances by Christina Aguilera and dancers from the movie Burlesque on “Dancing with the Stars,” “The American Music Awards,” and the UK’s “X Factor”; and appearances by Queen Latifah, John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer, and the cast of the movie Hairspray on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” “The Today Show” and the “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.” Jayson also produced New Line Cinema’s 40th Anniversary Gala, a benefit featuring Jane Fonda, Morgan Freeman and Nicole Kidman that raised over $2 million for the Film Society of Lincoln Center.

Jayson was a producer of Rock of Ages on Broadway, which earned five Tony Award nominations including Best Musical. With extensive background in producing and developing new musical theatre and entertainment, he also produced the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway hit musical Murder for Two, currently being licensed extensively around the world. He has worked with such luminaries as Bea Arthur, Carol Burnett, Diahann Carroll, Phyllis Diller, Zac Efron, Bonnie Franklin, Debbie Gibson, Neil Patrick Harris, Florence Henderson, Jerry Herman, Megan Hilty, Greg Louganis, James Marsden, Mary Tyler Moore, David Hyde Pierce, Billy Porter, Hank Azaria, and Phylicia Rashad. 

Jayson spent seven years on the producing team at Pasadena Playhouse and graduated from University of Michigan and the UCLA School of Theatre, Film and Television’s Producers Program.
