TEA Explores Brussels

09 July 2021, 11:00AM – 8:00PM

Meet at Museum For Musical Instruments (MIM) , , Belgium

Finally, we can meet in-person again! And TEA is planning to do this in style. Join TEA Explores Brussels on Friday July 9 in Europe’s capital for a day full of meeting industry friends, exploring attractions and finding out some truths and legends about this special city.

We start at the Museum for Musical Instruments, a unique museum with an extensive collection and strong story on the history of music housed in a unique art-nouveau building overlooking Brussels city center from the ‘Hill of the Arts’. We will gather for a coffee and will be introduced to the story of the museum.  We will be guided through the museum which will give us a chance to look at the amazing collection.

Following that, we reconvene at the Brussels Brewers’ House at the Grand Place – the heart of Brussels and the official head office for the beer industry in Belgium. Brewers’ House will open exclusively for us!  We meet for a light lunch and some much needed networking and discover Brussels’ original beer exposition in the basement of this historically important building. After this we make our way to the famous Brussels Bourse for a preview of the currently under construction Belgian Beer World attraction. The hard hat tour will take place in small groups with all necessary safety precautions and Covid measures in mind.

Next on the agenda, a specialized city tour guide will show us key points around the Brussels Grand Place telling us about the legends and stories of the city.  If you think you know Brussels, you are likely to still learn something!  At the end of the tour, we will pop in at a chocolatier to ensure you will not miss out on one of Belgium’s famous produce.
