Rebecca is a mechanical engineer and show programmer at Oceaneering Entertainment Systems in Orlando and graduated in Mechanical Engineering at Rice University.

Originally from Atlanta, GA, she has a passion to create high-quality and emotion-driven user and guest experiences, focusing on human factors and the intersections between humans and technology. At Oceaneering, she interfaces closely with all fields including technicians, engineers, programmers, managers, technical writers, to meet customer's needs, strongly believing in the need to build the bridge between the technical and creative worlds.

Past work in her college years includes placing twice as a Disney ImagiNations Design Competition semi-finalist in creating a concert hall and public transportation system, building a remote-controlled robot to provide disaster relief, designing an on-site water filtration station for Shell Oil & Gas, and pioneering the first generation of leaders and programs from the Rice Center of Engineering Leadership.

Her specialties lie in technical communication (oral and written), 2D/3D modeling in AutoCAD/Solidworks/Adobe Creative Suite, and project management.

Rebecca speaks fluent Spanish and conversational Mandarin and is part of the TEA NextGen University Relations Task Force.
