Biography

WHAT I DO:
I create unique experiences that bring people together in a physical space, inviting moments of genuine human connection.

I'm a writer, director, and multidisciplinary collaborator, currently working in themed entertainment, with a background in:

  • Live theater
  • B2B and B2B2C agency and product work
  • Interactive conversations and software

WHY I'M GOOD AT WHAT I DO:
My background in self-producing means that I'm disciplined in my creativity. I'm a creative who understands how to adjust execution without sacrificing vision.

Budgets and deadlines can be the best creative partners, if you know how to work within them. I'm proud to have created many of my own opportunities, concept to completion, by writing grants, finding funding, and producing my own work. That level of control is immensely gratifying, but also taught me pragmatic, real-world decision making.

WHAT'S UNIQUE ABOUT ME:
Through my curiosity and creativity, I've worn a lot of hats, so I speak many work languages. Sound engineering? Done it. Studio camera operator? Yes - on live newscasts. Performer, public speaker, voice-over performer? Yup. Lead singer for a touring Bossa Nova trio? Check.

My wide range of experience means that I thrive in diverse, collaborative environments. Every job is important, necessary and difficult. I succeed by understanding the challenges and opportunities from all sides.

MY CORE COMPETENCIES:

  • Originality and vision: Create, communicate, and execute innovative storytelling concepts
  • Imaginative: Adapt source material (educational, literary, public policy) into compelling narratives
  • Multidisciplinary: Apply an idea, story, or concept across multiple disciplines and platforms: live performance, spectacle, puppetry, interactive tech, art installation, digital media
  • Highly collaborative: Develop, lead, and work within diverse teams to create intelligent, emotionally engaging content. Collaborate across cultures to bring deeper joy and understanding to audiences.
  • Creative arbitrator: Balance competing interests, manage resources, make decisions and see projects through to completion
