I am a student at University of Maryland, Baltimore County where I am studying Theatre Design and Production. My main focus is in scenic design where I look to incorporate my skills into designing theme parks and other themed entertainment venues. I chose to do theatre because I always had a passion for storytelling and being able to bring stories to life is what keeps me going. I'm also very intrigued about working with a variety of people from all over the world and sharing ideas to keep themed entertainment alive!

I recieved my Associate's in Computer-Aided design where I learned a lot of valuable design skills in the classroom and during my professional internships. I learned how important attention to detail is because every little part of a project can make the whole difference for the audience/customer! Knowing that the themed entertainment industry is very detail-oriented is what really inspired me to pursure this career path. If I can use my CAD and scenic design skills in a career, that would be the ultimate dream!

In 2020, I had the privilege to participate in the Disney College Program where I had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world. Along with that, I had the chance to network with Disney professionals and learn what it was like to work in such an exciting company. While living down in Orlando for a little bit, I realized that this is where I want to be and these are the people I want to surround myself with.  Joining the Themed Entertainment Association is a great way to keep the opportunities available and to pursue my dream!
