University: University of Missouri

Area of study: Mechanical Engineering

Year of graduation: 2020

From an early age, I have dreamed of becoming a theme park engineer. I had a vast collection of various books by Imagineers that I read and studied often since my youth. To pursue this goal, I chose to follow a mechanical engineering path at University of Missouri, graduating in three and a half years with minors in mathematics and aerospace engineering, never missing a day of classes. During this time, I also performed undergraduate research in the fields of nondestructive evaluation, thermoelectricity, robotics, and dynamic systems. In addition to that, I also joined and rose to power in multiple organizations such as Pi Tau Sigma, MU Robotics, and the Mizzou Space Program. Once my time at Mizzou was completed, I began applying for careers around the clock until I got accepted as part of the Disney College Program, which I have been a part of since June 2021. In that time, I have received 19 Cast Recognitions for various tasks as I attempt to give myself as much hands-on experience in the parks as possible.
