7thSense Technologies Powering Nine Pavilions across Expo 2020 Dubai

7thSense, a leader in media serving, show control and pixel processing technologies for visitor attractions, live events and theme park installations, has supplied a total of 56 media servers and 17 Medialon show control systems to integrators as part of the Expo 2020 Dubai event.

Scheduled to run until 31 March 2022, Expo 2020 seeks to raise awareness about the worldwide issues that mankind faces. An expo’s goal is to bring countries together for collaborative initiatives that help to accelerate and promote ideas that enhance people’s lives while also conserving the environment.

Set to be the largest event ever held in the Middle East, visitor numbers for Expo 2020 Dubai continue to rise, with the total reaching to 4,766,419 in the period up to November 28. In addition to physical attendance, virtual visitation has now exceeded 23.5 million people.

Speaking about the installations, Eric Cantrell, Director of Sales and Marketing at 7thSense said, “7thSense technologies are renowned for performance and reliability, and are proven in demanding environments at theme parks and attractions worldwide. We are proud to have so many media server and show control solutions at such a prestigious global event and are honoured to see so them bringing immersive experiences to life for so many visitors.”

Across the 4.38 square kilometre Expo 2020 site, nine separate pavilions feature 7thSense media server and show control technologies:
