Fantawild Throws its Support Behind TEA China as its 1st Golden Sponsor

Burbank, CA - TEA China has announced its first Golden Sponsor: Fantawild Holdings Inc. Fantawild is the first, of what is expected to be many, year-round supporters of TEA China, a wholly owned foreign entity (WOFE) formed by TEA in 2021.

Since its inception, TEA China continues to grow active member companies, despite the many ongoing challenges from the Covid-19 pandemic in mainland China. TEA China has also spent the last several months building its reputation and brand in China by focusing on delivering news and educational content through teaconnect.cn and its WeChat channel (WeChat ID: TEACONNECT).

“With the addition of Fantawild as our first year-round corporate sponsor, we are on our way toward building a sustainable future for TEA in China,” said Michael Pan, General Manager of TEA China.

“Thanks to the leadership of Owen Zhao, Chair of the China Development Council, as well as other members of the Council, we can communicate to members of the LBE and tourism industry locally, the value in being a part of this historic and groundbreaking effort to establish the themed entertainment industry in China.”

Fantawild Holdings Inc. is a leading Chinese enterprise dedicated to creative entertainment and innovation-driven technology. It is the first company in China to implement a strategy combining culture, technology and tourism while also having developed a complete industrial chain integrating creative design; research and development; content production; and market operation. Fantawild has two main business areas: culturally inspired high-tech theme parks and entertainment products and services including special-effects films, animation production, themed performances, and consumer products.

“Fantawild is one of only a few companies capable of building an entire theme park utilizing their own industrial chain from creative design, research and development, content production, park construction and market operation,” noted Daisy Chang, CEO of Fantawild Holdings. “We offer bespoke theme park products and services to clients around the globe, including master planning, amusement park equipment trading and theme park investing to name just a few.”

Specializing in creativity, research and development, Fantawild has innovatively built and operated over 10 distinct theme park brands, such as Fantawild Adventure, Fantawild Oriental Heritage, and Fantawild Asian Legend. Currently, there are more than 30 Fantawild theme parks operating across China. For five consecutive years, the number of guests visiting these parks has ranked fifth globally for theme park attendance.

Additionally, Fantawild has independently developed over 10 types of special-effects films which have been exported to more than 40 countries and territories. Fantawild theme parks and attractions have been honored with the TEA Thea Awards for Outstanding Achievement and the IAAPA Brass Ring Awards on multiple occasions.
