The 2017 Summit & Thea Awards of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) took place April 20-22 at Disneyland Resort, Anaheim CA USA and the entire weekend of events was a great success, with full houses, relevant programming, high production values, networking, discussion, and pageantry that reflects the culture and creativity of our unique industry. The themed entertainment stars were out!
Nearly 800 people attended the 2017 Thea Awards Gala, 250 for Summit Day One, and more than 400 for Summit Day Two.

A busy week for themed entertainment it was, when Attractions Technology Collaborative (ATC) hosted their West Coast two-day workshop of the Attractions Technology Lab: Dark Ride Experience at Garner Holt Productions, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 19-22, 2022. Preceding the later festivities in Anaheim at the TEA Summit and Thea’s Thursday – Saturday that same week, the Collaborative invited members of the Themed Entertainment Association to a mixer and tour event in Redlands, CA, Tuesday evening, April 19th.
