TEA @ SEA Expo summary

TEA had a strong presence at the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement EXPO las week.  It ran from May 16-18 in Riyadh, KSA.

Members from around the world attended and participated in various activities, speeches etc in addition to exhibiting.

 

 

 

 

 

Key elements of note.

·         For the first time, TEA had a booth in order to help build our presence and inform the local market about the benefits of membership

·         The three-day conference elements was chaired by TEA board members and leaders Yael Coifman, Chuck Fawcett and Paul Kent

·         TEA curated and presented 2 of the sessions that formed part of the conference.

·         A preshow networking lunch was held by TEA on the Monday with roughly 20 members attending)

·         A TEA explores mixer was held on Tuesday evening at the Cliff Experience.  With sponsorship from the Happiness Factory making it possible, over 50 people attended this unique destination and enjoyed an evening of food and live performances. This was our first ever event in KSA!

TEA meets with US Assistant Secretary of Commerce

Orlando, June 06, 2022 -  TEA International Board of Directors President-elect Melissa Ruminot met today with US Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Industry and Analysis Grant Harris. The Industry and Analysis business unit works with associations to aggregate and represent the needs of industry in the formulation of U.S. foreign commercial and economic policy. Assistant Secretary Harris asked to meet with TEA to learn about TEA members’ challenges and needs. The lunch meeting was arranged by US Department of Commerce Orlando Director Kenneth Mouradian.
