  • Work under the direction of Lead Architect and/or Project Managers to develop construction document packages
  • Learn to read architectural and MEP plans and Specifications
  • Accurately model components from cut sheet to Revit families with information.
  • Develop detail material schedules in Revit for estimating and procurement teams
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free
  • Check and make corrections to drawings and models from mark-ups
  • Manipulate/translate various digital file formats to create useable CAD/Revit drawings
  • Work with Project Managers to download CAD drawings and Revit models together with project deliverable uploads
  • Work closely with Lead Architect and/or Project Manager to review and meet project goals
  • Assist in Revit development of standards
  • Assist in clash detection of Revit models
  • Assist in creation of Visual Operating Procedures
  • Join Lead Architect and/or Project Managers on pre-bid walks, site walks and punch walks 
Qualifications
Candidate must be enrolled at least part-time in a school or university with a focus on Architecture, interior design, construction management or themed entertainment. REVIT and AutoCAD will be used to prepare Construction/MEP systems from rough or general design drawings; insert details, complete material parts list schedules and other information necessary to make detailed drawings clear and complete.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, rendering, and drawing aesthetics
• Understanding of basic drawing setup modeling technique, and general knowledge of drafting standards
• Ability to quickly absorb and utilize company-specific techniques, standards and procedures
• Excellent oral and written communication skills essential for team-based working
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for fast-paced environment
• Highly motivated, proactive, flexible and willing to take on new challenges
• Good follow through and self-implemented Quality Control measures
• Able to utilize MS Office, Adobe and Bluebeam package software would be useful
