* Team Management: Lead, inspire, and support design teams by cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment. Oversee the successful delivery of design projects, ensuring they align with creative objectives and meet high-quality standards. Foster team engagement and ensure efficient task execution while providing guidance and encouragement. Actively recognize individual strengths and identify opportunities for both professional and personal growth within the team.
* Design Quality: Responsible for the team’s production of high quality design work company-wide. Hands-on involved in projects.
* Design Strategy and vision: Develop and execute design strategies that align with the company’s and clients’ vision, brand identity, and objectives.
* Brand Consistency: Ensure that design solutions maintain a consistent brand identity.
* Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (e.g., management, project management).
* Management Support: Provide support on larger or more complex projects by identifying bottlenecks early, maintaining oversight of processes, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
* Knowledge and Design Trends: Stay up to date with design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies and tools to keep the design process innovative and fresh.
* Design Processes: A solid understanding of the process from conceptual rendering to build-ready design is essential, along with the ability to guide designers in solving and developing designs—always with creative intent as the foundation.
* Leadership and Team Management Skills: Proven ability to lead, guide, motivate, and mentor a creative team.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design ideas to stakeholders and clients. Skilled at facilitating open and clear communication within the team to ensure everyone understands tasks, expectations, and feedback.
* Portfolio: A strong portfolio that demonstrates a wide range of design skills, successful real-world implementations, and a solid understanding of design principles and project execution.
