Bonnie has over 30 years of experience working as a costume designer and design administrator in the entertainment and licensing industries. Her experience has included projects for theme parks, the motion picture industry, television, retail design, licensing and theater.  Bonnie has mounted huge complex shows such as the Radio City Productions ‘Christmas Spectacular.’  She has also contributed her talents to the design of iconic character costumes for Herschend Family Entertainment; Dollywood and Stone Mountain Georgia. Most recently working with The Hettema Group, Bonnie has designed costumes for a parade in China and the uniforms for the ‘High Roller’ in Las Vegas. 

Bonnie spent 10 years working as the Creative Director of licensing for the award-winning illustrator Maurice Sendak. Her responsibilities included maintaining the artistic integrity of the intellectual property; ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’  She also advised and provided design assistance to licensees in product design and development.  Her years of experience working within the licensing industry has enabled her to acquire the knowledge and expertise needed for projects requiring costume design and communication with the brand holders of intellectual properties.

Bonnie is known for her leadership, organizational and creative abilities.  She loves the collaborative process and her extensive knowledge in the areas of design administration make her an important part of The Costume Connection team.
