Walt Disney World enthusiastically hired Ida in 2012 to be a costume designer.There, she masterfully creates costumes for Princesses, Park Theater shows, Atmospheric Entertainment, Cruise line Theater shows, and Resorts operational costumes. Her Costume brilliance can be seen in productions: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, HBCU Drum Major Mickey, California Adventure Land Tail of the Lion King, The Circle of Life for the Dream cruise- line ship, also, well-known movie characters like Princess Elana of Avalor, The Wish: Asha,  Little Mermaid Theater show: Ariel,   as well as different Resorts: Polynesian (all Operational costumes), Hong Kong: Explorers Lodge (all Operational resort costumes).

Ida has such an extensive background in costume design in the musical and film performance genre that in 1995, Ida was awarded the coveted  NAACP Image Award for Best Costume Design Five Heartbeats- Live Theatre.  After this, she began to focus on designing costumes for feature films such as Temptations (Leon)  Call Me Claus (Whoopi Goldberg),  Big Mama’s House (Martin Lawrence), Universal Soldier II (John Claude Van Damn),  The Negotiator  (Keven Spacey and Sam L. Jackson).   Ida’s creative genius was also displayed On celebrity performing artists like Debbi Allen, Chaka Kahn, Wynonna Judd, The Emotions, and Michael Jackson.
