Jodi McLaughlin

Executive Producer

Walt Disney Imagineering (Retired)

As a former Executive Creative Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, Jodi McLaughlin was responsible for the creative and strategic leadership of new concepts for Disney Parks, from ideation through execution.

Throughout a project’s life cycle, Jodi supported its creative vision and intent, as well as partnered with key stakeholders on the tactics of design and delivery means and methods.

In addition, Jodi served as the leader for Producers at Walt Disney Imagineering. She advised casting, best practices, career development, creative ideation, and strategic initiatives for the Development and Production Studio. Jodi also provided oversight across the creative development and implementation of the EPCOT transformation, including new attractions, place-making, and immersive experiences.

Jodi brought a multidisciplinary background and more than three decades of Disney experience to her projects. She started her Walt Disney Imagineering career as a show set designer for Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland Paris before being promoted to principal set decorator for Disneyland Paris and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Jodi then was promoted to Manager of Show Arts and Theme Finishes, followed by Principal Producer. As a producer, Jodi directed at the intersections of art and commerce, aligning her fluency in design and creative development with the business of moving projects through the pipeline of implementation from beginning to end. As a creative producer, Jodi’s projects included Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! at Disney California Adventure and “it’s a small world” at Hong Kong Disneyland. In 2008, she was promoted to Executive Creative Producer for three new areas of Hong Kong Disneyland: Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point and Toy Story Land.
