Business Description for Membership Directory: We are Norse Sky, the Yorkshire (UK) based themed set builders & prop makers. Our 6,500 sq ft studio is fully equipped for the creation of high quality sets and props. Our reach is established nationally and overseas, with completed works in Europe, The USA, China and the Middle East.
Specialising in CNC machining, timber construction, polycarving, GRP, mould-making, polyurethane casting and most importantly, creative problem solving, we offer the full spectrum of theming services.
Our in-house design team, proficient and experienced in concept generation through to design for manufacture are available to step in and develop your ideas at any stage of the creative process.
Our work within the attractions industry has seen us deliver mini golf courses to the Middle East, dark ride theming to the USA and escape rooms on cruise ships in the Caribbean Sea. Closer to home, our work spans the length of the country, from The Edinburgh Dungeon to Alton Towers and Healey’s Cyder Farm in Cornwall.
When it comes to theatre, festivals and live events our experienced team thrive under pressure and have created amazing experiences big and small. From opening World Tours in Shanghai, to grass routes performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
You’ve probably seen our work on-screen, from online commercials to blockbuster cinema. Our team can jump in at any level. From art direction, to construction management, or part of a larger art departments as prop makers, painters and set builders.
We have a proven track record in providing scenic support to A/V partners, integrating and housing electronic hardware within themed environments and enclosures to deliver scenic, themed, complex A/V experiences.
