Personal Bio: Focusing on Storytelling, and Research, I have 10+ years of experience as a lecturer in higher education in the Netherlands. I've worked for various universities (of applied science, in some cases). Currently, I'm a lecturer in the Leisure & Events Management program at Inholland, located in Amsterdam. With my colleague, Bjorn Bouwens, I co-host the Dutch-language leisure podcast Daar Wil Je Naartoe. Aimed at students and young professionals, we offer our listeners insights and anecdotes, both from our own experience and from interviews with notable professionals, among whom are Walibi Holland director Mascha Taminiau, Toverland brand specialist Henk Janssen, and Van Hoorne Studios executive producer theme parks and resorts Gilles Rousel. In addition, I greatly enjoy being involved in creative projects. Together with freelance concept designer Daan van Genechten, I participated in the Storyland Design Challenge 2024. Our project, HAVEN, was chosen as part of the top 10, out of 80+ entries. This experience has made me even more excited to take up more and more creative work.
