Personal Bio: My name is Rey Nevarez. I am a dedicated professional currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Construction Management at the College of Southern Nevada, with a concentration in Construction Estimating. My ultimate goal is to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Entertainment Engineering and Design from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Professionally, I have worked in the medical field for over twelve years now. Aside from working in the medical field, I have also served as a bilingual tour guide at The Neon Museum and volunteered at The Springs Preserve Heritage Park. My whole life changed after reading "Theme Park Design & The Art of Themed Entertainment" by David Younger: my entire life focus has now been to pursue the conception of physical spaces that inspire a personal connection with the surroundings. Being from Las Vegas, I am no stranger to the magic provided by themed experiences. Despite the inevitability of a "Ready Player One" scenario, I am well aware of the desire for exploration that is inherent in each and every one of us.
