Personal Bio: My name is Jeana White and I am a new student in the Themed Entertainment master's program at UCF. My undergraduate degree is in special education from the University of Utah. I had the wonderful opportunity to teach at the elementary level for four years and I loved connecting with my students and celebrating their academic successes. After four years, I decided to stay at home and raise my awesome little family. I don't regret it one bit (but secretly, I did miss the collaborating and atmosphere of coworkers), my husband is a huge support and my rock in every adventure I undertake. Some years later, I decided I wanted to continue my education in an area that I have always loved, but was too afraid to attempt. I received a master's degree in interior architecture and design from the Academy of Arts University in December 2021. I am fascinated with architecture in all forms, but pre-WWII is my favorite. I am especially drawn to historic homes and spaces. I always want to know the how's and why's of a building's structure, design features, along with it's function and construction process. I am excited to be a part of UCF's program and become a member of TEA to expand my knowledge and experience in the industry.
