Personal Bio: Hello! My name is Jax McGuire, I’m originally from Southern California and now live in Wilmington North Carolina. I’m a current freshman at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business and planning to minor in Advertising and Public Relations. Growing up around theme parks and themed entertainment sparked my passion for immersive storytelling, guest experience, and creative design. For over a decade, I’ve worked in the themed entertainment industry, mainly in haunted attractions, where I’ve designed, performed, and helped build experiences. I’ve had the opportunity to shape leading attractions like The 13th Acre and contribute to projects such as Broken Raven. Outside of live entertainment, I’ve built experience in advertising, branding, and marketing through running my own projects and stepping into leadership roles. At UNC, I’m starting a themed entertainment club under TEA to bring students together, connect with industry professionals, and to share this amazing industry with students. I’m truly excited and grateful to now be a part of TEA and to continue growing in this incredible industry.
