Personal Bio: My name is Sophia Elliott, and I am an Application Development Engineer based in Saint Petersburg, Florida. I received my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Computer Science with a minor in Film Studies from Florida State University in May 2024. Growing up, family trips to theme parks ignited my enthusiasm for themed entertainment. I was fascinated by the thoroughness and creativity behind every experience and detail throughout the park. That fascination has continued to grow, and even today, I take the occasional solo day trip to Orlando for magic and inspiration. I love continuing to learn about the process and approaches individuals in the themed entertainment industry take before reaching the final product. I am currently a full-stack developer that specializes in Java and Angular. Working on both the front-end and the back-end of an application has allowed me to interact with both logic and design cohesively. Thus, I am specifically interested in the intersection of technology and storytelling in the themed entertainment industry. Through the Themed Entertainment Association, I hope to make connections with those who share the same passions and learn from their experiences.
