Personal Bio: My name is Kalen, and I am a sophomore studying mechanical engineering at Brown University. I have a passion for combining a technical, engineering background with my love for immersive design and themed entertainment. My dream is to cultivate memorable experiences and spaces that take people out of the ordinary and into incredible worlds, with the ultimate goal of creating smiles. :) With many years of theater experience on, off, and behind the stage, I found a love for storytelling and world building. I continue to pursue these interests through classes, independent research and projects, and extracurricular involvements. I am always looking to improve my skills and knowledge, and for new ways to create! I use engineering to fulfill my needs of building and problem solving, with a focus on mechanical structures, design, and innovation. I strive for a deep understanding within the field, so I can use the physical foundations and technologies as a launching point for new and exciting projects.
