Personal Bio: Idir Mobarik is an aspiring story writer who grew up in Stamford, Connecticut and moved to Florida at 18 to attend film school and pursue a career in emerging storytelling fields in themed entertainment. Here they have gained experience in screenwriting through both coursework and independent projects, writing multiple short student films. Their work is mostly in the horror and comedy genres, exploring themes of grief, repression and escapism through a focus on tension and visual storytelling. Idir hopes to continue developing their skills and collaborate on projects that can push the boundaries of what is possible with immersive visual storytelling.
