Personal Bio: I’m a lighting designer and technical director working at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and spatial experience. With over a decade of experience in theatrical production and live event environments, my work focuses on how lighting systems shape the way audiences perceive and move through a space. I currently lead production operations at Highland Community College, where I oversee lighting design, technical systems, budgeting, and student mentorship across theatrical productions and institutional events. My background blends creative design with deep technical fluency, including extensive work with networked lighting infrastructure, architectural lighting control, and ETC console ecosystems. I’m particularly interested in the ways lighting systems, control networks, and spatial design combine to create cohesive audience experiences. In Fall 2025, I begin pursuing my MFA in Lighting Design through the University of Idaho distance program, continuing to develop my design practice while expanding my research into immersive and story-driven environments. Long term, I am interested in contributing to projects in themed entertainment, immersive environments, and experiential design—spaces where lighting, technology, and narrative come together to create meaningful audience experiences.
