Personal Bio: I am a civil engineer currently working full-time in the field while pursuing an Associate’s degree in Architecture, as I work toward transitioning into the themed entertainment industry. While my professional background is rooted in engineering, I have always been drawn to creative environments, particularly theater, set design, and immersive storytelling.
My interest in themed entertainment began in middle school when I performed at Disneyland with my band. During that visit, experiencing the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction sparked a fascination with the intricacy and storytelling behind its set design. That moment ultimately inspired my long-term goal of pursuing a career in this field.
This passion continued to grow during my time as a civil engineering intern at Disneyland, where I gained a deeper appreciation not only for the infrastructure but also for the artistry and attention to detail that bring immersive environments to life. That experience solidified my desire to pursue a more creative, design-focused career path.
I am actively developing my skills in design and visualization, with experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, and SolidWorks, and I am currently expanding into Rhino and Revit. I am especially interested in blending technical expertise with creative design to help create engaging, story-driven environments.
I am eager to connect with others in the industry, learn from experienced professionals, and continue building the skills needed to transition into set design and themed entertainment.
