PUTTING WELLNESS AT THE HEART OF TEA EVENTS
The TEA Wellness Council was created to support our members and volunteer leaders in shaping events that don’t just inspire professionally – but also help us thrive personally.
We’re excited to share that Emma Newell (Magnetic Moon Coaching) has recently stepped into the role of Chair, following Clara Rice (Adirondack Studios), who we thank sincerely for her leadership in launching and guiding the Council to this point.
With more than 25 years of experience in People and Culture, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge as a Leadership Coach and Strategy Facilitator. She knows first-hand how the pressures of high-profile projects and constant industry change can impact health and well-being – both from her own experience with burnout and from seeing the ripple effects across organizations.
The Wellness Council exists to inspire balance, connection, and resilience within our community. By collaborating with standing committees and division boards, the Council helps ensure wellness is thoughtfully integrated into TEA events around the world.

Looking ahead, the Council will continue building an inclusive community, supporting cultural change, and ensuring that TEA events are designed with member well-being in mind.
