Included in the park tour are:

BY CAR
A4 MILAN-VENICE MOTORWAY
Are you coming from Milan? Exit at the Peschiera del Garda tollbooth, the Park is just a few kilometres from the motorway exit.
Are you coming from Venice? Exit at the Sommacampagna or Peschiera del Garda tollbooth, the Park is just a few kilometres from the motorway exit.

A22 BRENNER MOTORWAY
Are you coming from Modena? Take the junction with the A4 motorway in the direction of Milan and exit at Sommacampagna or Peschiera del Garda. The Park is just a few kilometres from the motorway exit.
Are you coming from Brenner? Exit at Affi and follow the dual carriageway towards Peschiera del Garda.

BY TRAIN
Gardaland Park is located only 2 km from the Peschiera del Garda railway station and is connected to the station by a free shuttle bus service (round-trip) every 30 minutes. First run: 30 minutes before Park opening time; last run: 30 minutes after Park closing time.

BY PLANE
The Valerio Catullo of Verona Villafranca airport is only a few kilometres far from Gardaland Park. Gardaland does not operate a shuttle service from Verona airport. A taxi from the airport will take around 25-30 minutes and should cost €35 to €45.

Themed Dinner Costume Inspiration (WEDNESDAY)

15 MAY
The SATE Europe themed dinner will take place on 15 May which means it’s time for that all important question: "What am I going to wear?!"

This year, we want you to evoke your inner time traveler from Doctor Who to Marty McFly. So, make that Quantum Leap! Our journey will start with an explorer's adventure into Jumanji. Will you escape the labyrinth? After escaping the land by the magic of themed entertainment, we'll all rendezvous at the Pirates Paradise for dinner and more entertainment.

So, channel your inner traveler or explorer and get ready for a great evening of networking and entertainment. Remember, if you are not in costume you may have to walk the plank!

Whilst our dinner is in the wonderfully themed “Silver Saloon,” there is no expectation for guests to wear costume. Though, Country and Western singing and dancing will be welcomed!​

Dietary Restrictions information

The venue cannot accommodate any short notice dietary requests. If you didn’t add your dietary requirements to your original booking please notify us by Friday 10 May so we can ensure the venue have the details in advance.​

Our menus will vary daily. We will have vegetarian items available. The menus will be labeled if they contain dairy, gluten, and nuts.

Dress Code

The attire for SATE Europe is business casual. It is a good idea to bring a sweater as the conference rooms may get chilly.
Bring a jacket, wrap or shawl as the weather may be cool and portions of the event will be outdoors.

PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY

By registering for and attending TEA events, you grant the Themed Entertainment Association (“TEA”’) and its authorized representatives’ permission to film, photograph, or otherwise record your participation in the event. You further agree that such images, photographs, and recordings may be used by TEA without your prior approval in any form and for any lawful purpose including, without limitation, promoting TEA. Such use will not entitle you to any credit or compensation. You release TEA, its officers, and employees from any liability connected with the use of any image, photograph, or recording taken during the event.

PERSONAL PROPERTY POLICY

​TEA, Gardaland Resort, and other venues associated with SATE Europe are not responsible for lost or stolen property of our attendees. For safe keeping, we recommend leaving all valuables and possessions not necessary for the conference locked in your hotel room. TEA staff and volunteers are not permitted to hold or store bags at any time.​

TEA Code of Conduct

​​TEA SATE Europe is governed under the TEA Code of Conduct. Report any discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or unprofessional conduct using TEA’s confidential electronic reporting system.

TEA asks that you use the electronic reporting system because it is available 24/7 from anywhere globally. If, for some reason you cannot report the behavior using TEA’s online incident reporting system, please call TEA’s confidential U.S. toll-free telephone number: +1-800-225-7757. All reports will be kept as confidential as possible and will not be shared with any individuals not directly connected to the alleged incident. Complaints should not be shared in any forum other than through these official reporting mechanisms.

Evening Activity Transportaion

On Wednesday and Thursday evenings we will be having drinks and dinner in the park. There will be shuttle buses to take the group from Gardaland Hotel to the park. These are scheduled for the start and end of the evening and will not run during dinner.

On Wednesday, we’d like everyone to gather outside the Gardaland Hotel entrance for a group photograph at 18.30 and the buses will then depart at 18.45. They will return from the park to the hotel at 22.30. 

On Thursday, the buses will again depart from the Gardaland Hotel at 18.45 and return from the park to the hotel at 22.00.

​On both nights the bar in the Gardaland Hotel will be available as a cash bar to all SATE Europe guests. ​

Cancellations and Transfers

A $75 processing fee will be applied to all cancellations and transfers. All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing via email to [email protected]. TEA is not responsible for cancellation or transfer requests that are incomplete or not received.

Cancellation requests received before 1 May 2024 at 5:00pm EDT will receive a 100% refund on registration and event fees, minus the processing fee. No refunds of conference registration or event fees will be granted after 5:00pm EDT on 1 May 2024.

TEA will process any approved refunds within 30 days of the conclusion of the applicable event(s).

Registrants who are no longer able to attend the event may request a substitution by submitting their request in writing via email to [email protected]. The substitute must be from the same organization, and requests are subject to a $75 processing fee.

Substitutions will be accepted until 1 May 2024. Upon receipt, the original registration rate and any event tickets purchased will transfer to the new attendee. Substitutions will not be accepted after 1 May 2024.

Gardaland Park Access

Gardaland are offering SATE Europe attendees complimentary access to the park on Tuesday 14 May and Friday 17 May. Park tickets can be collected from the Gardaland Hotel Reception on the morning of Tuesday 14 May and the morning of Friday 17 May for that day’s access. Tickets cannot be collected in advance.
